Without a doubt the CISMA is one of the top 3-trade shows in the world for the sewing machine industry. Every two years, all renowned manufacturers showcase their products in Shanghai. This year PFAFF Industrial presented 20 solutions on 100 sqm; 7 of those machines are the result of the cooperation with Golden Wheel. In addition PFAFF showed the new 8306 hot-air welding machine which offers a low-priced alternative for simple work processes. The trade show proved to be a great success. More than a 30.000 visitors from all over China South East Asia, India, South America and Europe attended the CISMA 2011; approximately 25 % of them were end users and 75 % distributors.
The visitors were particularly interested in the PFAFF 3590 large-area computer computer stitcher and the PFAFF 3745 docu-seam workplace. This leads to the conclusion that the companies would like to increase their productivity in the medium term. In particular, this applies to those companies that are located in the coastal regions of China. Here the labor costs and employee benefits are increasing and many companies cannot recruit enough workers. On the day before the trade show PFAFF and Golden Wheel organized a joint dealer meeting for all Asian Golden Wheel-dealers. More than 70 dealers attended on this conference in Shanghai.
