What do I check when the sewing material is damaged?

Damage by the needle:
- needle point damaged
- needle too thick
- version of needle shank or needle point unsuitable

Damage by the feed dog:
- adjustment of feed dog unsuitable (too far
fowrad or back in needle plate slots; too high, too low)
- version of
feed dog unsuitable: toothing, dimensions
- sharpness of feed dog teeth
- choice of sewing parts or machine version

Damage caused by leaking oil:
- machine too heavily oiled
- sewing-machine
oil too thin
- servicing instructions for machine not complied with
