1. Vision
For our successful activities, we draw on the innovative strength of more than 150 years of experience in joining technical and non-technical textiles, leather and composites. Our core expertise is our know-how in different joining techniques, such as sewing and the welding techniques of ultrasonic, hot-air and heated tool welding. Here, we are perceived as a global solution provider; here, our customers see us as an innovation and technology leader.
With high-tech industrial sewing machines, CNC sewing machines, sewing robots (2D/3D), welding systems, documented seam systems, multi-needle sewing systems and fully automatic production solutions, we will help our textile and leather-processing customers in future to increase the degree of automation in their production. Our automation solutions will help to significantly improve productivity and process reliability.
PFAFF Industriesysteme und Maschinen GmbH with its brands PFAFF and KSL will epitomise “fully automated sewing technology”.
2. Strategy / Politics
The satisfaction of our customers has the utmost priority at our company. We are competent and reliable partners of our customers. We ascertain the individual requirements of our customers during a comprehensive consultation. We integrate standard products and individual applications in the specific problem solutions and create added value for the customer. Reliable service worldwide and a long-term supply of spare parts safeguards the investments of our customers.
Highly motivated, creative, qualified and quality-conscious people have the necessary experience in process technology, electrical engineering, automation technology, computer engineering and robotics in order to master the future challenges in the markets with regard to automation and networking (Industry 4.0). That is why we encourage them in particular and motivate them to assume personal responsibility. We agree and pursue targets and recognise achievements and ideas.

2.1. Energy policy
Sustainable activities and production are the focus of our decisions. At PFAFF Industriesysteme und Maschinen GmbH, we set ourselves the goal of reducing our energy consumption in the long term and continually improving our energy-related output.
For this purpose, it is important that we support the acquisition of energy-efficient products and services.
We formulate targets whose implementation we ensure through the provision of financial and personnel resources and the necessary information. We ensure that our energy policy is appropriate with regard to type and scope of the energy use and consumption.
Our energy policy forms the framework for the definition and review of the targets.
Through it, compliance with the statutory obligations and other requirements with regard to the use of energy, the consumption of energy and energy efficiency is ensured.
The defined goals are regularly reviewed and the results communicated. These results are used to derive measures.
This energy policy is used as a basis for our energy-related activities. It is documented and communicated across all levels, reviewed every year and constantly updated.
