Modular quilt panel sewing unit (Overlock)

Features

Side seam sewing system to cut to length and simultaneously seam of the quilts:

Adjustment track each side sewing unit: 600 mm
Left- and right handed 5-thread overlock sewing heads
Continuous edge trimming (left/right) via the knife which is integrated in the overlock sewing head
The machines can work with one or two needle
Max. sewing speed 4,000 s.p.m., with a max. stitch length of 5 mm
Electronic thread flow monitoring for all 5 chain threads (during the sewing process)
Control of the adjusted quilt lengths via laser distance measurement (with optical display on the display of the laser sensor)

4-needle cross sewing system to cut to length and simultaneously seam of the quilts:

Liftable 4-needle double-chainstitch sewing heads (Stich type 401) with multi-feed (needle-, top- and presserfoot feed)
Needle gauges: 5 / 5 / 5 mm
Max. sewing speed: 3,000 s.p.m.
Adjustable stitch length: 2 - 8 mm
Cycle time at quilt size 1.30 m x 2.40 m: 15 sec. (with a stitch length of 7 mm of the cross seam)
Collision control (detection of material jams)
Thread monitor for all chain threads
Chain thread trimming device and circular knife

Others:

Compensators infront of the sewing heads of the side- and cross seam stations to decouple the production speed of the upstream multi-needle unit
High accuracy of the quilts due to hanging and tension free measuring and cutting
Touch-screen with intuitive menu navigation and simple operation
